Most Blessed Trinity, I, Your child, thank You for all the gifts and privileges which You granted to Saint Gerard, especially for those virtues with which You adorned him on earth and the glory which You now impart to him in heaven. Accomplish Your work, Oh Lord, so that Your kingdom may come about on earth. Through his merits in union with those of Jesus and Mary, grant me the grace for which I ask that Brigitta conceives a healthy baby.

And you, my powerful intercessor, Saint Gerard, always so ready to help those who have recourse to you, pray for me. Come before the throne of Divine Mercy and do not leave without being heard. To you I confide this important and urgent affair, that Brigitta conceives a healthy baby. Graciously take my cause in hand and do not let me end this prayer without experiencing the effects of your intercession. Amen.

Prayer to St. Joseph, Patron of Workers

O Saint Joseph, we pray to you for those who are out of work, for those who want to earn their living or support their families.

You who are the patron of workers, grant that unemployment may vanish from our ranks; that all those who are ready to work may put their strength and abilities in serving their fellowmen and earn a just salary.

You are the patron of families; do not let those who have children to support and raise lack the necessary means. Have pity on our brothers and sisters held down in unemployment and poverty because of sickness or social disorders. Help our political leaders and captains of industry find new and just solutions. May each and every one have the joy of contributing, according to his abilities, to the common prosperity by an honorable livelihood. Grant that we may all share together in the abundant goods God has given us and that we may help underprivileged countries.

Baby Sydney's mom is only 5 months pregnant, and has been told Sydney faces life threatening medical issues. It is unlikely that she will make it full term, and is not expected to live beyond delivery. Sydney lives in California, USA.

Great Saint Gerard, beloved servant of Jesus Christ, perfect imitator of our meek and humble Savior, and devoted child of the Mother of God, enkindle in my heart one spark of that heavenly of charity which glowed in yours and made you a seraph of love.

Glorious Saint Gerard, because, like your Divine Master, you bore without murmur or complaint the calumnies of wicked men when falsely accused of crime, you have been raised up by God as the patron and protector of expectant mothers. Preserve this expectant mother in the dangers of motherhood, and shield the child she now bears, that it may be brought safely to the light of day and receive the sacrament of baptism.

Prayer Request for Alzheimer's Patient

Please pray for Larry, husband of Ina, my sponsor into the Church. Larry's doctors believe that he is now in the beginning stages of Alzheimer's disease. Pray for a cure for Larry and all Alzheimer patients, and pray also for the comfort and guidance of their families. Thank you all.

Lord God, Who has graciously chosen Saint Dymphna to be the patroness of those afflicted with mental and nervous disorders, and has caused her to be an inspiration and a symbol of charity to the thousands who invoke her intercession, grant through the prayers of this pure, youthful martyr, relief and consolation to all who suffer from these disturbances, and especially to those for whom we now pray. We humbly pray for your servant Larry and his family.

We beg You to accept and grant the prayers of Saint Dymphna on our behalf. Grant to those we have particularly recommended patience in their sufferings and resignation to Your Divine Will. Fill them with hope and, if it is according to Your Divine Plan, bestow upon them the cure they so earnestly desire. Grant this through Christ Our Lord. Amen.

We believe that you will show the same compassion to persons afflicted with Alzheimer's disease. Please pray with us that the medical teams involved in research may soon discover its cause and cure.

Dear St. Dymphna, now in heaven with God where there is "...no more death, no more grief or crying or pain.." (Rev. 21:4), you are our sign and beacon of hope.
