Please pray for the healing of Michael. Pray that all goes in his favor in the coming months and that he is cured of his addictions. Pray that he finds a job so he doesn't lose his home. Please pray that he and A. find God and walk with him with every step they take. Please pray for us for strength during this trying and depressing time.

Lord God who seeks only our good, help this family and all families through the difficulties and adversities of life. We pray that through Your Merciful love that Michael will be healed of his affliction and may he soon be gainfully employed. But in order for Your Will to be done, we pray that Michael will choose to love You above all others and all earthly things. We also place his family into your Most Sacred Heart and may the perseverence of which St. Paul speaks of guide this family towards hope and persevering courage.
We ask this in Your most Holy Name Lord.

PRAYER TO SAINT MAXIMILIAN KOLBE
O Lord Jesus Christ, who said, "Greater love than this no man has, that a man lay down his life for his friends," through the intercession of Saint Maximilian Kolbe whose life illustrated such love, we beseech you to grant us our petitions ... that Michael will be given strength to overcome his addictions.
Through the Militia Immaculata movement, which Maximilian founded, he spread a fervent devotion to Our Lady throughout the world. He gave up his life for a total stranger and loved his persecutors, giving us an example of unselfish love for all men - a love that was inspired by true devotion to Mary.
Grant, O Lord Jesus, that we too may give ourselves entirely without reserve to the love and service of our Heavenly Queen in order to better love and serve our fellow man in imitation of your humble servant, Saint Maximilian.
