Lord God of Mercy and Divine Physician we pray for the health of your little child, Sydney. We place this beloved child before You and pray for her healing if that be Your Will.
May The Holy Spirit comfort her and her family and fill them with strength to undergo this ordeal safe in the knowledge that Your Love will give them the perserverance they need. And may our Lady comfort Sydney's family during this time of trial, as she copes bravely with her long term illness.

Gracious God, the incorruptible body of Saint Bernadette, though she died in 1879, remains undeteriorated, a testament to her holiness. Because of her compassion, which she learned from life-long sicknesses and mistreatments, I ask her to intercede for Sydney, the people I know who have illnesses and diseases, all those who have asked me to pray for them as they hope for healing, and my own need to be healthy. Lord God, help us to grow in holiness so that our souls are purified and our bodies may testify to Your loving goodness. Saint Bernadette, pray for us. Amen.
