Urgent Prayer Request For Steven

My son Steven is struggling with addictions to prescription meds & alcohol. He text tonight to say  he thinks suicide is the only way to get rid of the addictions. I ask the Lord Jesus Christ to heal Steven of his addictions. AMEN

Prayer for the Intercession of Saint Maximlian Kolbe, Patron of Addicts

 Dear Christ, Saint Maximilian was imprisoned in Auschwitz where he ministered to the captives and celebrated Mass by consecrating bread and wine that had been smuggled in. He was martyred after he voluntarily took the place of a young married prisoner condemned to die. Since he's the patron saint of drug addicts and people in prison, I ask him to intercede for the inmates in our jails. O Lord, heal their hearts and protect them from the evil that surrounds them. I also ask him to pray for the addicts in my family and my friends' families. O Lord, set them free from the prison of their addictions. Saint Maximilian, pray for us.

 Prayer for the Intercession of Saint Dymphna, Patron of Mental Illness

 

 

Lord God, Who has graciously chosen Saint Dymphna to be the patroness of those afflicted with mental and nervous disorders, and has caused her to be an inspiration and a symbol of charity to the thousands who invoke her intercession, grant through the prayers of this pure, youthful martyr, relief and consolation to all who suffer from these disturbances, and especially to Steven for whom we now pray.

    We beg You to accept and grant the prayers of Saint Dymphna on our behalf. Grant to those we have particularly recommended patience in their sufferings and resignation to Your Divine Will. Fill them with hope and, if it is according to Your Divine Plan, bestow upon them the cure they so earnestly desire. Grant this through Christ Our Lord. Amen

 Prayer to Saint Jude, Patron of Desperate Situations

Dear Apostle and Martyr for Christ, you left us an Epistle in the New Testament. With good reason many invoke you when illness is at a desperate stage. We now recommend to your kindness Steven who is in a critical condition. May the cure of this patient increase his faith and love for the Lord of Life, for the glory of our merciful God. Amen.
