Prayer Request for My Landlady

Mildred Banks is my 85 year old landlady and good friend. Mildred had started having health problems about a year ago, mostly related to slight anemia and a copper deficiency.

Mildred was in the hospital a couple of weeks ago, and is now back home. During the hospital stay it was determined that she has severe congestive heart failure, and she is now being seen at home by hospice.

Please keep Mildred in your prayers, and also her family as well.

Prayer to Saint John of God, Patron of Heart Patients

Dear Convert, after a sinful life, through the power of God's holy Word you learned to love your fellow human beings. Self-sacrificing, you founded the Society of Hospital Brothers. No wonder the Church made you the patron of patients, nurses, and Heart patients. That is why we confidently have recourse to you.

Please give assistance to Mildred Banks and teach us to be kind like you.

God, You filled St. John with the spirit of compassion. Grant that by practicing works of charity we may deserve to be numbered among the elect in Your Kingdom.

Prayers for my brother Randy

My youngest brother, Randy had Fusion Surgery on his neck Monday to ease his recurring neck pain from injuries he suffered in a car accident over 20 years ago.

Today he is unable to raise his left arm at the shoulder. He is being kept at the hospital for another night as a result.

Randy is a medical lab tech, and he needs the use of both arms to do his job. Please keep him in your praers, and pray for the healing of his left shoulder.

Urgent Prayers for Robin

I ask for your prayers for my friend Robin Langford, who is severely ill and will soon be in the presence of Our Lord.

Please pray for the repose of her soul, and for the Peace of Christ for her family and friends.

Almighty and merciful God, who hast bestowed upon mankind saving remedies and the gift of everlasting life, look graciously upon us Thy servants and comfort the souls which Thou hast made, that, in the hour of their passing, cleansed from all stain of sin, they may deserve to be presented to Thee, their Creator, by the hands of the holy angels. Prayer Request For A Lady With Troubles

I am 62 and live paycheck to paycheck. My car broke down and I was fired because I could not get to work. My car that I had in 1999, finally gave out. I bought another car with all of my savings. That car overheated and I brought it to a repair shop and they ruined the engine. I do not have any more money to buy a third car. My son is trying to fix the car for me. But has not been able to find out what is wrong. I now have no income coming in and my rent will be due in a few weeks. Please pray that we can find a way to fix my car, so I can find another job. I know this sounds mundane but I am 62 and am close to being homeless. Thank you for your prayers.

Saint Gregory of Neocaesarea , you are called the Wonderworker, as God chose you to show His power through the many miracles you performed Hear now our prayer for Karen, that she may find the solace and help she is so desperately in need of from God. Pray that none of us become anxious over the needs we face in our daily lives. And most importantly, pray that we may be found worthy of the Promises of Christ.

Urgent Prayer Request For My Good Friend Wanda

Wanda had been having severe headaches, and medications like Tylenol, etc., were not helping. She had a knot on the back of her head, and her doctor says it appeared to be a tumor on the outside of her skull, and that pressure from it was causing the headaches. She went to a neurosurgeon, and he ordered a biopsy on the knot. The results of the biopsy were not good. Wanda's doctor's say that she has Stage 4 cancer.

The doctor's feel that there is cancer somewhere else in her body for it to have metastasized to her skull. They will be doing a scan (not sure if MRI or CAT scan) to attempt to find where the cancer is, and determine what treatment options are available to them.

Please keep Wanda and her family in your prayers.

Oh great Saint Peregrine, you who have been called "The Mighty" and "The Wonder-Worker" because of the numerous miracles which you have obtained from God for those who have had recourse to you. For so many years you bore in your own flesh this cancerous disease that destroys the very fiber of our being, and who had recourse to the source of all grace when the power of man could do no more. You were favored with the vision of Jesus coming down from His Cross to heal your affliction. Ask of God and Our Lady, the cure of Wanda whom we entrust to you.

Aided in this way by your powerful intercession, we shall sing to God, now and for all eternity, a song of gratitude for His great goodness and mercy. Amen.

Dear Apostle and Martyr for Christ, you left us an Epistle in the New Testament. With good reason many invoke you when illness is at a desperate stage. We now recommend to your kindness Wanda, who is in a critical condition. May the cure of this patient increase her faith and love for the Lord of Life, and for the glory of our merciful God. Amen.

Urgent Prayer Request For An Addicted Daughter

I don't even know what to say, my girls are everything to me, they always have been. My 22 year old daughter Ashley is a master manipulator. She says what you need to hear to let her do what she wants...and right now what she wants is to stick a needle in her arm. I got a call not long ago that she weighs 84 lbs. I'm so scared. I stopped talking to her on the phone because it hurts when she lies and I know it. Just this weekend I got four texts and messages that she was calling everybody begging for pain pills. I don't know what else to do. I don't want to bury my baby!!

Prayer to Saint Maximilian Kolbe (Patron Saint Against Drug Addiction)

God of mercy, we bless You in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, who ministered to all who come to Him. Give Your strength to Ashley, Your servant, bound by the chains of addiction. Enfold her in Your love and restore her to the freedom of God's children. Lord, look with compassion on all those who have lost their health and freedom. Restore to them the assurance of Your unfailing mercy, and strengthen them in the work of recovery. To those who care for them, grant patient understanding and a love that perseveres. We ask this through Christ Our Lord. Amen.

Saint Maximilian Maria Kolbe, your life of love and labor for souls was sacrificed amid the horrors of a concentration camp and hastened to its end by an injection of a deadly drug.

Look with compassion upon Ashley who is now entrapped in addiction to drugs and whom we now recommend to your powerful intercession.
