Prayer Request for My Landlady

Mildred Banks is my 85 year old landlady and good friend. Mildred had started having health problems about a year ago, mostly related to slight anemia and a copper deficiency.

Mildred was in the hospital a couple of weeks ago, and is now back home. During the hospital stay it was determined that she has severe congestive heart failure, and she is now being seen at home by hospice.

Please keep Mildred in your prayers, and also her family as well.

Prayers for my brother Randy

My youngest brother, Randy had Fusion Surgery on his neck Monday to ease his recurring neck pain from injuries he suffered in a car accident over 20 years ago.

Today he is unable to raise his left arm at the shoulder. He is being kept at the hospital for another night as a result.

Randy is a medical lab tech, and he needs the use of both arms to do his job. Please keep him in your praers, and pray for the healing of his left shoulder.

Urgent Prayer Request For My Good Friend Wanda

Wanda had been having severe headaches, and medications like Tylenol, etc., were not helping. She had a knot on the back of her head, and her doctor says it appeared to be a tumor on the outside of her skull, and that pressure from it was causing the headaches. She went to a neurosurgeon, and he ordered a biopsy on the knot. The results of the biopsy were not good. Wanda's doctor's say that she has Stage 4 cancer.

The doctor's feel that there is cancer somewhere else in her body for it to have metastasized to her skull. They will be doing a scan (not sure if MRI or CAT scan) to attempt to find where the cancer is, and determine what treatment options are available to them.

Please keep Wanda and her family in your prayers.

Urgent Prayer Request For An Addicted Daughter

I don't even know what to say, my girls are everything to me, they always have been. My 22 year old daughter Ashley is a master manipulator. She says what you need to hear to let her do what she wants...and right now what she wants is to stick a needle in her arm. I got a call not long ago that she weighs 84 lbs. I'm so scared. I stopped talking to her on the phone because it hurts when she lies and I know it. Just this weekend I got four texts and messages that she was calling everybody begging for pain pills. I don't know what else to do. I don't want to bury my baby!!

Please pray for Julie and the health of her baby

This morning, Julie's water broke at almost 19 weeks. There is not a lot of amniotic fluid left. Julie is home for the week on bedrest.

Julie lost her first child due to miscarriage. Julie and Chris, her husband were indeed in need of healing given this loss. They were overjoyed when they were blessed again with their second child who's life is in danger now.

Please pray for this child's survival. Many doctor's are giving them their "options"... Chris and Julie wish to trust in God that whatever He wills for this child will bring greater glory to Him.

Please join them in praying that, if it be God's perfect will and His mercy, that He would allow the amniotic fluid to be restored and that their baby would be saved and in good health.

Please pray for a young man, Trevor Ruck, who is in a cancer hospital in Texas, dying of cancer. He is asking for prayers. Trevor has suffered and fought hard. The doctors told him they have done what they thought would help/heal him and don’t know what to do.  He may have only weeks to live. I am in desperate need of prayer for my boyfriend whose heart is not with me at the moment. He is also going into life storms and has been frustrated by it. Beloved Padre Pio, today I come to add my prayer to the thousands of prayers offered to you every day by those who love and venerate you. They ask for cures and healings, earthly and spiritual blessings, and peace for body and mind. And because of your friendship with the Lord, he heals those you ask to be healed, and forgive those you forgive.

I pray to you with all my heart and my faith in you, that you will help our family. I am not able to work, due to severe eye problems. I am currently in the process of going thru workman's compensation for my injuries. My case will be heard over the next several weeks, starting on 9/16/2010. I pray that I will win this case. Prayer to Saint Rita of Cascia

 

 

Holy Patroness of those in need, Saint Rita, you were humble, pure and patient. Your pleadings with your divine Spouse are irresistible, so please obtain for me from our risen Jesus the request I make of you: that Robert may have success in his workers compensation hearing. Be kind to me for the greater glory of God, and I shall honour you and sing your praises forever. Glorious Saint Rita, you miraculously participated in the sorrowful passion of our Lord Jesus Christ. Obtain for me now the grace to suffer with resignation the troubles of this life, and protect me in all my needs. Amen.                             

Prayer Request for Jim

I am desperate.  My mother has several health issues and I pray for her return to health.  My sibling/family are in a dispute with me over her care.  My sibling/spouse are in a dispute with me regarding property boundaries of my mother's property.  I am overwhelmed, disheartened, afraid.  Please pray for these needs.

Prayer to the Infant Jesus of Prague

Jesus, You said, "Ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find, knock and it shall be opened to you." Through the intercession of Mary, Your holy Mother, I knock, I seek, I ask that my prayer be granted. We pray that Jim's mother may return to health.

Jesus, You said, "All that you ask of the Father in My name, He will grant you." Through the intercession of Mary, Your holy Mother, I humbly and urgently ask Your Father in Your name that my prayer be granted. We pray that Jim's sibling be helpful and supportive in the care of their mother.

Jesus, You said, "Heaven and earth shall pass away, but My word shall not pass." Through the intercession of Mary, Your holy Mother, I feel confident that my prayer will be granted. We pray that the sibling/spouse of Jim be led to understand that peace in the family is a virtue deisred over worldly possessions.
